2018 Music In The Park Schedule

2018 SUMMER MUSIC IN THE PARK PROGRAM

All programs are presented in the Gazebo in Fuhrman Park, Rock Point Road, Maytown.  The program may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

Sunday, June 3, 2018      7:00 pm – Program Sponsored Through Donation Received From Armstrong Ceiling Solutions
The program will feature the Working Man’s Band from the Elizabethtown area.  The group plays a selection of music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.

Sunday, June 10, 2018     7:00 pm
The program will feature the Twin Rose Community Band.  The Band plays a blend of patriotic music and popular selections for big bands.

Sunday, June 17, 2018      7:00 pm
The program will feature by Southside Band.  The Band plays a mix of 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and current R&B and soul music with some danceable rock mixed in.

Sunday, June 24, 2018      7:00 pm – Program Sponsored Through Donation Received From Nolt Electric, Inc.
The program will feature the band Fire In The Glen.  The group will present a variety of Celtic music.

Sunday, July 1, 2018      7:00 pm
The program will feature Kracker Beez Band.  Fun rock for all ages, this Lancaster County crowd-pleasing band plays popular classic sign-a-long rock favorites from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.

Sunday, July 8, 2018      7:00 pm – Program Sponsored Through Donation Received From David Miller/Associates, Inc.
The program will feature the Bainbridge Band playing rousing marches, toe tapping favorites and a variety of familiar and unique selections.

Sunday, July 15, 2018      7:00 pm
The program will feature Not Quite Einstein, a Hershey-based oldies rock group.  The program consists of 60’s, 70’s and 80’s rock and roll music.

Sunday, July 22, 2018      7:00 pm – Program Sponsored Through Donation Received From Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority
The program will feature Short Notise (no the name is not misspelled) whose members hail from across the Middle Atlantic Region and perform a variety of bluegrass music.

Sunday, July 29, 2018      7:00 pm
The program will feature The Rampart Street Ramblers.  The program will consist of New Orleans style jazz.

Sunday, August 5, 2018     6:30 pm
The program will feature the Malta Band.  the program will consist of a wide variety of music by a band that has been in and around Lancaster for 60 years.

Sunday, August 12, 2018      6:30 pm
The program will feature the HepCats.  The band will perform an upbeat blend of swing music with a touch of blues that will keep your toes tapping.

Sunday, August 19, 2018      6:30 pm
The program will feature the Fabulous Cheeze Brothers and Sisters. This group has been a local favorite for over 25 years and performs R&B, Motown and disco/funk from the 60’s through the 80’s and appeals to all ages.  The group will also mix in a few of today’s super hits.

Sunday, August 26, 2018      6:30 pm
The program will feature the Rohrerstown Band presenting various marches, patriotic music and other selections to round out the summer program.
