Township Seeks To Fill Volunteer Board and Commission Openings

The East Donegal Township Board of Supervisors is seeking to fill openings on the following volunteer Boards/Commissions:

  • East Donegal Township Board of Auditors
  • East Donegal Township Park Commission
  • East Donegal Township Planning Commission

The characteristics of the community’s volunteers that currently serve are: Ability to work with fellow members, staff and the public in a cooperative and collaborative manner; ability to facilitate and participate in discussions in a productive manner; ability to lead in a positive, constructive manner; history of community involvement; ability to digest and comprehend complex technical material and make sound recommendations or decisions on those facts; and the ability to embrace the diversity of the community.

Township residents that are interested in serving on one of these Boards/Commissions are encouraged to submit a letter of interest and complete the Township Volunteer Application.

Compost Site Users Need To Renew Key FOB Subscription

The current key fob subscription will expire on February 28, 2022.  You may renew your key fob at your convenience after January 1, 2022, for the next year which will end on February 28, 2023. Note that the fob cost for 2022 will be $25.00.

We ask that you renew early to avoid any disruption in service. Any new subscriptions purchased prior to January 1, 2022, will expire on February 28, 2022.

To renew, please fill out a key fob application.  Where appropriate on the application, circle RENEWAL and write your key fob number on the application.

Proposed 2022 Budget Introduced For Public Review

At the regular meeting of the Township Board of Supervisors held on Thursday, November 4, 2021, the Board introduced the proposed 2021 General Fund Budget for public review. In addition budgets for the Township’s Highway Aid Fund, Trash and Recycling Fund, and the newly created American Rescue Plan Act Fund were presented.

The Board of Supervisors anticipate action on the proposed 2022 Budget at the December 2, 2021 meeting of the Board.
