If you are a property owner or employer, you will soon be receiving an annual fee bill from the Municipal Emergency Services Authority of Lancaster County (MESA). Our municipality is a founding member of MESA, which is publicly funded to ensure 911 ambulance service is available on a sustainable basis.
Payment of the 2024 annual fee is due to MESA by March 15, 2024. To save time, pay online at www.mesalancasterpa.gov.
Due to the snow storm conditions, trash and recycling pickup scheduled for Tuesday, February 13, 2024 has been CANCELLED. Residents are asked NOT to place trash and recycling bins out for pickup. Trash/recycling container placed curbside cause problems for snow plow crews clearing roadways.
Those impacted by this cancellation will be permitted to place double the permitted amount curbside next week, February 20, 2024 without the need for extra tags.

ASSISTANT TOWNSHIP MANAGER
East Donegal Township, Lancaster County, PA is seeking an individual to assist the Township Manager in the accomplishment of administrative and personnel management, long-range planning and training, day-to-day operations, and other management functions. The successful applicant must meet all the requirements of the job description including, but not limited to, a minimum of a BA/BS degree, with managerial experience. Applicant must have an understanding of employee management, business matters and the role of local government; detailed knowledge of financial management and Human Resources Management; proven ability to prepare successful grant applications and effectively manage grant projects; and, ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both verbal and written form. Salary range is commensurate with experience and dependent upon qualifications, with a full benefits package included.
