Compost Site Hours Changed For 2020
For 2020, the compost site will be open beginning April 4, 2020, until November 21, 2020, open every Saturday from 9 AM- 12 PM and Monday from 3 PM- 6 PM. Except April 11, May 23 & 25, July 4 and September 5 & 7. (Note: Hours are subject to change, please refer to Mount Joy Borough website (http://mountjoyborough.com/wasterecycling/compost-facility) Question regarding the compost facility should be directed to Mount Joy Borough office 717-653-8226.
The joint East Donegal Township – Mount Joy Borough compost site is located on South Jacob Street. To reach the site turn onto South Barbara Street, turn left onto Donegal Street, and then turn right onto S. Jacob, and follow to the site.
