Trash Pickup Delayed in Areas of Township (June 6, 2023)

Republic Services has notified the Township that due to truck constraints, the following streets were not collected for trash today.

They will be picked up tomorrow:

• Acantus Street
• Basil Street
• Daplin Avenue
• Heathersage Drive
• Honeysuckle Drive
• Sable Drive
• Shadetree Blvd
• Donegal Springs Road
• Janet Drive
• Kraybill Church Road
• Stellar Drive
• Trout Run Road

Independence Day Holiday Week Trash/Recycling Pickup

Reminder – Due to the Independence Day holiday, trash/recycling collection will be delayed by one day.

• Tuesday collection (July 4th) will be collected on Wednesday (July 5th)

• Wednesday collection (July 5th) will be collected on Thursday (July 6th)

As always, please place your trash and recycling materials curbside the night prior to collection.

Township Roadways To Be Seal Coated Week Of June 26th

The Township’s contractor will be working to complete this year’s scheduled seal coating (oil and chip) of five Township roadways during the week of June 26th (weather permitting).  These roadways are:

Colebrook Road

Tanger Street

Sload Circle

Amanda Court

Price Place

Please be aware that these roads may be closed for short periods of time while the contractor is working.  However, the duration of the closure should be brief.  In addition, motorists should take care when driving on freshly oiled and chipped roadways.

In addition, the contractor will be applying a “fog seal” to Tanger Street, Sload Circle, Amanda Court and Price Place to bind the material together.

The roadway markings will be applied at a later date.
