2022 Township Scholarship Winner Announced
The East Donegal Township Board of Supervisors recognized the 2022 Township Scholarship recipient, Hadley Shoaf, at the Board’s July 7th public meeting. As the scholarship winner Hadley will receive $1,000.00 for use toward her college tuition. Hadley is the daughter of Todd and Melissa Shoaf. Hadley will be attending Dickinson College pursuing a degree in psychology.
The Board of Supervisors have implemented the scholarship program to recognize outstanding Donegal High School graduates that are residents of the Township. The $1,000.00 award is for one year only and is for the purposes of tuition, books and fees only.
Scholarship Program applications are made available in the spring of the year at the Donegal High School and at the Township office. The winner of the scholarship award is announced at the Donegal School District’s annual Senior Awards Night.
2022 Music In The Park Program Scheduled To Start Sunday, June 5th
The 2022 summer season of Music-In-The-Park events kicks-off on Sunday, June 5th with a performance by the band Pocketful O’ Soul. The summer music series is held in the gazebo within Fuhrman Park in Maytown. Please note that this season all programs will start at 6:00 PM.
In addition to music, many of the events will include food trucks providing for the opportunity to purchase food and drinks to enjoy during the evening. The June 5th evening will feature the food truck That’s What Cheese Said. They will be open for business at 5:00 PM. Please come out and enjoy an evening of good music and food.

Schedule Set For 2022 Music In The Park Series
Once again, the East Donegal Township Park Commission and East Donegal Township Board of Supervisors will be presenting a series of music events for the summer of 2022. The concerts are scheduled on each Sunday evening beginning June 5th and continuing through August 21st. All programs are presented in the Gazebo in Fuhrman Park, Rock Point Road, Maytown. The program may be cancelled in the event of inclement weather. Please note, for 2022 all will begin at 6:00 pm.
