Final Music In The Park Program For 2021 To Feature Rohrerstown Band…And Free Ice Cream
The final evening of the 2021 Summer Music In The Park Program will take place Sunday evening, August 29, 2021. The program
will begin at 6:30 PM. This week will feature the Rohrerstown Band.
To celebrate a successful summer season of music, the Township Board of Supervisors will be in attendance to provide free ice cream to all! So come out to Fuhrman Park Sunday evening to enjoy the weather, good music and free ice cream.
The Board of Supervisors and the Township Park Commission would like to thank all those that support this annual summer series of music through donations, program sponsorship or participation. Without the support of these businesses, these presentations would be difficult to provide to the community.
Only Three Evenings Remain For This Summer’s Music In The Park Series
Sunday, August 15, 2021 6:30 pm – The program will feature the Fabulous Cheeze Brothers and Sisters. This group has been a local favorite for over 25 years and performs R&B, Motown and disco/funk from the 60’s through the 80’s and appeals to all ages. The group will also mix in a few of today’s super hits. The food truck announced previously has cancelled and will not be attending.
Sunday, August 22, 2021 6:30 pm – The program will feature the Working Man’s Band from the Elizabethtown area. The group plays a selection of music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. This program is sponsored by the generous donation of David Miller/Associates, Inc.
Sunday, August 29, 2021 6:30 pm – The program will feature the Rohrerstown Band presenting various marches, patriotic music and other selections to round out the summer program. To celebrate a successful summer season of music, the Township Board of Supervisors will be in attendance to provide free ice cream to all!
East High Street To Be Closed For Paving – July 21st
The final paving of East High Street is currently scheduled for Wednesday, July 21st, and may extended to July 22nd. During this time the road will be closed to traffic. Please plan accordingly.
