UPDATE – Changes Made To Yard Waste and Oversize Item Pick-up
Effective Thursday, May 7, 2020, Eagle Disposal Residential Collections will operate as follows:
Trash Collection- On Schedule as Normal (Special Notice – For the safety of those working to pick-up trash, all trash must be contained in a bag, NO loose trash placed directly in to a trash receptacle. Failure to do so will result in trash not being taken.)
Recycle Collection- On Schedule as Normal
Yard Waste Collection- Yard waste collection will resume Saturday, May 9, 2020. For the May 9th & May 23rd pickup dates please limit the number of yard waste bags to 4 bags per household to give everyone the opportunity to have some of their yard waste collected without overloading the collection system. IMPORTANT – Yard waste must be in the brown Kraft bags with a green yard waste tag attached. Yard Waste Tags can be purchased at the Township office for $1.00.
Oversize Item Collection- Oversize item pick will resume on Thursday, May 7, 2020. There will be a limit of one oversized item per week per household during the month of May. IMPORTANT – The oversized item must have a red tag attached to it in order to be picked up. Oversize Item Tags can be purchased at the Township office for $3.00.
These changes are needed so Eagle Disposal can continue to focus all their efforts and personnel on trash and recycle collection. The collection of trash is their top priority as improperly managed waste can create conditions that may have severe adverse effects on public health, safety and the environment. With the number of people at home, volumes are increasing significantly at the curb. Eagle commits to do their best to get materials cleaned up, however, there will be situations that will be over the limits they must adhere to.
Everyone appreciates your cooperation during this unprecedented crisis.
