Township Implementing Plan for Continuation of Operations
In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, East Donegal Township has begun implementing a plan for the continuation of operations of Township services while protecting the health and safety of our staff and citizens. We are still open for business; answering the phones and emails, receiving plans and processing permits, but we are operating under a Partial Closure status. We have cancelled or postponed all non-Township group meetings and trainings and limited public access to our office space. Note that, to date, NO official Township meetings have been cancelled.
You may continue to drop off any documents for Township staff to review from 8am-4pm Monday-Thursday and 8am to noon on Friday in a collection box in front of the Municipal Building lobby at 190 Rock Point Road. Please call the Township office at 717-426-3167 to provide notice that something was placed in the drop-off collection box. You will be notified by telephone should something be placed in the pick-off box for you at the same location. Staff will continue to be accessible by telephone and email.
You do not need to come into our building to make utility and trash payments. If you need to stop by, please use the drop box on the recycling shed located in the parking lot to the right of the building to make utility and trash payments. Your payment will be credited against your account on the day you drop it into the box.

East Donegal Township Continues to Assess and Prepare for the Impact of COVID-19
East Donegal Township will continue regular office hours of Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM to Noon. However, we are asking that the public limit access to the building for the safety of our staff and residents at this time. Note that you should not come into our building to make utility and trash payments. If you need to stop by, please use the drop box on the recycling shed located in the parking lot to the right of the building. Your payment will be credited against your account on the day you drop it into the box.
For trash pick-ups scheduled in April 2020, the required “extra bag” tags will be waived. We ask that you use common sense in limiting the number of extra bags placed curbside and not abuse this waiver. Please continue to check frequently for future updates regarding trash/recycling pick-up.
