So come out to Fuhrman Park Sunday evening to enjoy the weather and good music.
The Board of Supervisors and the Township Park Commission would like to thank all those that support this annual summer series of music through donations, program sponsorship or participation.
The removal of street trees along East High Street signals the start of long-awaited street improvements. These improvements will include the complete reconstruction of the roadway, the installation of curbs and stormwater inlets and piping, and the replacement of the public sidewalks. In addition, while the Township is making roadway improvements, the Sewer Authority will be replacing sewer laterals and the Water Authority will be installing a new water main and replacing individual service connections. With a late May start, it’s anticipated that the project will extend to September
The extensive improvements proposed to East High Street will result in motorists experiencing the inconvenience of roadway construction for a few months this spring and summer. During this project, vehicle traffic will be limited and, at times, prohibited on East High Street between the square in Maytown and the fire station of the Maytown East Donegal Township Fire Department.
The Township is appreciative of your patience at this critical location while construction is occurring. We all look forward to the finished product.
